Hotel City - Zentrum - guest reviews and rating

A hotel right next to the metro station,so at very convenient location. The room is decent, and the breakfast is very good.

The hotel did have a lift but only to the 4th.floor and we were on the 6th. floor.I have seen descriptions of the hotel's facilities which are completely misleading,eg: "hairdryers in all rooms", there isn't ,you have to hire them from reception. "a bar" there isn't a bar in the hotel or a lounge. Lunch and dinner served, not so.

There aren't cakes and sweets at breakfast.
The room was small but comfortable

stayed at hotel in feb 2004,very clean,very warm, walking distance to wenslas square and all other central attractions, room was to same standard as uk travel inn. breakfasts are a bit dodgy. would return to hotel again.

Localisation Excellente/Excellent location : en face de la sublime Maison Municipale et de la Tour Poudrière, à moins de 100 m des premières rues pietonne.
Prix en promotion à 42€ la chambre double : sans concurrence.
Petit déjeuner/Breakfast = Buffet à volonté. Le café n'est pas terrible mais les petits pains au cumin et gros sel sont excellents.
Chambres/Rooms = Simples mais conformtables, propres et spacieuses/ simple but comfortable, clean and well sized.
Isolation externe thermique et sonore = Excellente
Isolation interne/entre chambre = moyenne
Salle de bain = spacieuse mais avec douches seuleument.
Elevator/Ascenseur = s'arrête à l'entre-étage.

I stayed here with a group of 12 in Dec 2002.
Good sized clean rooms, new showers, exquisitely comfortable beds, staff friendly, reasonable exchange rate at the front desk. Good location - can walk to anywhere in the city from here.
What let it down was those breakfasts! Cheap cornflakes and awful bratwursts. Go elsewhere for breakfast.
