Hotel is an converted old palace right in the heart of the old town. You couldn't get a better position in Prague unless you are staying at the Prince. Staff were very helpful. Rooms although spacious lacked atmosphere & drawers to put things. Beds really uncomfortable. The room didn't get cleaned & when we asked for extra pillows (you only get one) they said we will see what we can find! Hence none turned up. The bathroom only had a hand shower, so you cannot stand up in bath to have a shower.

excellent hotel in excellent central locaton (old building). friendly staff. very spacious room with old furniture, with fully modern bathroom (jacuzzi). Breakfast very good too. Free wireless broadband Internet. Took advantage of special off.season price and so was also really value for money. Highly recommended.

This was a really good hotel, with excellent facilities and really nice rooms. It is right next to the Old Town Square, and within easy walking distance of all the main Old Town Attractions.

The Airport transfer was also quick, efficient, punctual and good value for money.

I can highly recommend this hotel, and will stay there again if I ever go back to Prague

Fantastic weekend from start to finish. Drivers were puntual and efficient. Room was great direct on the Old Town Square and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. Have already recommended you to several friends both in the UK and Germany

The hotel is located in the centre of the old town, great for shops and attractions.

The rooms were clean, very spacious and quiet.

The staff spoke very good english and were very helpful.

A charming old hotel with ideal location, just a few steps from the main scuare.

The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect,close to everything "must see" in Prague.The building was also very nice and traditional.The room was spacy and the bath very comfortable.A little noisy some times but that's acceptable for a hotel in the city centre.A nice place to stay.

We realy enjoyd the stay at this hotel, it is just as far away from the old town squer that you dont heare the noise, but in walking distance it`s 2 min away.
In fact we liked it so mutch that we are sending my sister to stay at the same hotel for 3 days in March.
This is ouer second time in Pragh this year(2006), and we are definatly gonig back again, and then we know what hotel to stay at, Hotel U Zlateho jelena (Golden Stag)

Once again I have only praise for Athos travel, I have travelled to Prague on various occasions booking through Athos Travel, They are very helpful indeed if needed they can arrange everything needed for a great stay, the list of hotels used by Athos are excellent & I have enjoyed every stay I have booked through Athos.
I will certainly use Athos for my stay in Prague in 2007 as I have only great memories of all my stays in this wonderful city, so much to do & see whilst in Prague after 7 trips I am still amazed by this jewel of a city.
My last stay at the Hotel U Zlateho jelena (Golden Stag was again great, very pleasant staff, atmosphere very cosy & room very clean & very reasonably priced, excellent location 50 meters from Old town square, I highly recommend Athos to everyone planning a visit to Prague, I seriously can not thank Athos enough, Athos if you do read this, Well done & I personally wish you all at Athos Travel all the very best wishes for 2007.

the hotel was in a great location .the room had a lot of character and was spotless.the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. the staff at the restaurant for breakfast were friendly and very attentive. we will certainly return to that hotel again.

Delightful,comfortable, clean and friendly hotel in a perfect location at the Old Town Square. Could not have found a better hotel to have enjoyed the sites of Prague. Will return there again and would highly recommend this hotel.

I have forgotten to tell you that as well we took the taxi and the man was very very nice.

Everything was perfect but at the reservation as we took a suite with two rooms ans because we were four persons, we understood that we have the two rooms separate with the bath (it means chamber 8 and not 32).
Anyway all the people was very gentle and we enjoyed a lot to visit Prague.

Very pretty hotel in a wonderful place.
a friend of mine has told me about the hotel and so I'll do with all my friends!
